The English rock group Led Zeppelin released their second studio album, Led Zeppelin II, on October 22, 1969. The album was recorded in a number of venues across the United Kingdom. The lead guitarist of the band was given credit for producing the record. The band's developing blues-inspired songs and guitar riff-based sound were shown on the album. It's been called the band's most intense record.
In 1970, David Juniper, who designed the album's cover, received a Grammy Award nomination for Best Recording Package.
